Tony Venning welcomed all Members and Speaker for today, our own David Milton. Mike Bodsworth, a new member, gave those present a short introduction to him, including his years in the Royal Navy, ending up as Lieutenant Commander. Since then Mike found work in Emergency Planning, including what to do in Peace-time! John Knivett’s progress, since his operation, is slow but welcomes visitor, providing advance notice is given. John Brett remains very ill and has not properly recovered since he was in hospital. We all wish them well. Tony, and those present, also welcomed David Tutcher, a guest, who we are hopeful will become a member. Tony also mentioned the recent trip to Sherborne and thanked Peter Walker for all his efforts but voiced disappointment at the low turnout.
29 Members plus 1 guest. 9 apologies received.
